(Q) Can we get the attendee list or the mailing list?
(A) No contact information is provided. We do not sell or give away our attendee lists as a general rule. Our relationships with our clients are very important to us. We want to keep it that way, so any data remains proprietary. We can and do work with organizations to provide follow-up services to our attending audiences or we can provide a market research deliverable or survey providing contacts and qualified leads for relevant business initiatives consistent with the subject matter of the conference. (Q) How many people do you expect at your events?
(A) For typical conferences, or special events attendance ranges from 20 - 300 attendees normally.
(Q) How do you market your events?
(A) We use our website as our main source of information. Feel free to download sponsorship forms, registration forms, flyers, or anything you need from our web site that we provide to our website visitors. Remember to update and refresh your browser between visits, otherwise you may not see the updates because your computer will show you the last file it stored. We update our websites weekly! We can email you flyers, website URL information, and forms upon request.

(Q) Q: How do you sign up for a Mutual of Omaha Drive, Chip & Putt event?
(A) There are three different options to sign-up for an event. The first way can be accessed right here on the Golden Gate Events event page. Just click on the upcoming events link on the events page and follow the directions to the event you have an interest in. The second method is to fill out a registration form provided by the client sponsoring an event. Finally, interested participants can also sign up by contacting our office with yyour credit card available for payment (415-830-1614).
(Q) There is supposed to be updated information on a certain web page, but it doesn't seem to be there. How can I view the changes?
(A) You may need to click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser to get the most recent version of a web page to appear. If this doesn't solve the problem, please contact Laura Johnson at 703-412-9287 x223 or at ljohnson@marketaccess.org.
(Q) There is a charge on my credit card statement, but I don’t know what it was for. How can I determine this information?
(A) If you attended one of the Golden Gate Events, your credit card statement may indicate the purchase price. On your credit card statement, Golden Gate Events will appear as the processor. If you need further assistance, call Customer Service at 415-803-1416.
(Q) I have a scheduling conflict and can no longer attend an event. Can I transfer to another offering without penalty?
(A) Yes. You may transfer a registration without penalty up to two times*.
(Q) I wasn't able to attend the event, though I registered and prepaid. Can I get a refund?
(A) A full refund, less a $35 processing fee will be granted only if the registered attendee informs Golden Gate Events in writing at least one week before the event. At this point, Golden Gate Events has already committed the funds to purchase refreshments, meals, space and event handouts. Any time after that point, the attendee will be responsible for the entire registration fee. Note: Golden Gate Events' cancellation policy is located at the bottom of each registration form.
(Q) I registered and prepaid for the event but am not able to attend. Can someone else go in my place?
(A) You may designate a substitute in writing; send an email to (Tracy@GoldenGateEvents.com) or call 415-803-1614, any time before an event with no penalties or processing fees. If possible, knowing the replacement’s name, title and address prior to attending the event helps facilitate a smooth registration substitutions.
(Q) If I fill out the online booking form, am I guaranteed a reservation to an event?
(A) Yes, for events that are still accepting registrations. However, if an event is sold out, Golden Gate Events will contact you and ask if you want to be put on a waiting list or transferred to an upcoming offering. To prevent this from happening, be sure to keep an eye on our website at www.GoldenGateEvents.com.
(Q) What happens if I submitted my registration form without payment and then an event sells out?
(A) Golden Gate Events reserves the right to cancel any unpaid reservations to provide a paying registrant with the confirmed reservations. All registrants will be notified if they are in danger of losing their reservation. If they are unable to process payment timely, they will be notified at least two weeks prior to the start date that they have lost their reservation.
(Q) I was not able to attend the event . Can I get a copy the of materials provided during the presentation?
(A) Yes. There will be a fee for a copies, and mailings. Please call 415-803-1416 to purchase.
(Q) Can I get a copy of your attendee list?
(A) Yes, if you were a registered attendee. We do not however, release contact information. The attendee list that Golden Gate Events will provide will include the attendee name, title and affiliation information the day of the event only.
(Q) I am with the press. Can I attend for free?
(A) We no longer offer complimentary press passes. However, we often work with other publications to offer a complimentary pass in exchange for helping us market our events. For more information on "media sponsorships," call 415-803-1416. Also, due to the subject matter of some of the executive briefings, members of the press may not be allowed to attend per the request of a speaker or our client.
(Q) How do I learn more about an event?
(A) Visit our website at www.GoldenGateEvents.com. Check the site fairly frequently as information on events is continually revised and expanded.
(Q) What is the last day to register?
(A) Registration for our events is usually open until 48 hours prior to the event. You may also walk in and register the day pending space permitting. Visit our website at www.GoldenGateEvents.com for up-to-date details.
(Q) Can I simply walk in on the day of the event itself?
(A) Maybe. If the client is still accepting registrations, you may register on site. Please have your payment with you in order to attend. Provided we have space available, we will do everything we can to allow you to attend. If the event is sold out, you will not be allowed to walk in. (Q) Is there an early bird discount? Will I be charged more at the door than I would if I registered in advance?
(A) Sometimes. On occasion we produce an event that stipulates having an increased price at the door.
(Q) What kind of discount do you offer for groups of people attending from the same company?
(A) Sponsors and exhibitors are permitted to purchase additional tickets at a reduced rate.
(Q) Will I receive a receipt?
(A) Golden Gate Events provides receipts via email upon payment / confirmation or upon request the day of the event.
(Q) Can I obtain photographs / video tape any of your events?
